2012 Prophecy, Prophecies, Predictions University of Metaphysical Sciences has provided you with this page of resources so that you can get some information on 2012 and the coming challenges that humanity faces. 2012 is actually the birth of a new paradigm and the death of an old paradigm. It is actually a beautiful thing that is coming to pass. It is unfortunate that there are some humans serving the old paradigm ways that don't want this to be a gentle transition, but that is the way things are in the old paradigm. A few have control over the masses and how things are structured. That is going to change. Ancient Predictions From All Cultures From ancient times there have been predictions and prophecies about a date close to the 2000 year mark from the time of Christ. In the Christian religion it concerns the rapture and the return of Christ to the Earth, in Hopi and other Native American traditions there is a prediction that the Great Spirit will set things right again, the 2012 Mayan Calendar predicts the end of the world as we know it, and Nostradamus predicted that times of great upheaval will come in the future. That time is now. Many other cultures have this type of prediction and prophecy in their spiritual beliefs as well. Even ancient Sumerian texts support that something drastic happens to the Earth every few thousand years. After all, something happened when Noah's flood came about and when Atlantis sunk under the ocean. It is possible that something cataclysmic can happen again. No one knows for sure, but there is a buildup of energy and evidence for such a thing to occur. Humanity Wants Change, Therefore It Will Happen Predictions, prophecy, and prophecies are not a sure thing. The future can always be changed up until the point that it happens and the future then becomes the past. No one really knows what is going to happen, although there is a lot of speculation. All we do know is that something is going to happen, if for no other reason but for the very fact that the mass consciousness is manifesting it. Humanity wants things to change. Because humanity wants change, that is what must happen. It is the law of the universe. What the mass consciousness wants, the mass consciousness gets. Change is inevitable, and it is the only way humanity can go on with its evolution. The way things are done now are simply not sustainable and the population is growing ever faster. If the Earth is to be our home, then humanity has to learn how to take care of the Earth and cooperate with the Earth differently. The present relationship is unsustainable. Only 1% of the human population is happy with how things are because they are the ones who are in power and have great wealth. The other 99% of the population is fed up and tired of living with lack of abundance, poverty, and lack of opportunities. You might think you have a tough life, but think about the larger part of the population who live in a state of fear for their lives, the well-being of their children, and are on the verge of starvation or annihilation for other reasons. There are refugees all over the world living in a glorified camping situation. Not everyone lives in a good situation. If you have hot showers, clean water, clean food and safety from famine, wars or climate challenges, you are privileged and lucky compared to the largest part of the population who don't have any such conveniences. This is not a world of freedom, even though it has moved more into that direction in some ways than before. For instance, communication is far freer than it ever has been. In other ways freedoms have been taken away, first and foremost through the economic systems. These days, everyone has to work very hard to keep a roof over their heads and keep their children fed, let alone having extra money for actually enjoying life. Very few people have the abundance that it takes to truly enjoy life. They get by, but in a world of abundance getting by simply isn't good enough. Humans were meant to have far more enjoyment than they do. Also think about all the citizens of the world who are oppressed spiritually, emotionally and mentally. Freedom of religion is not something that is available everywhere. There are still many places that even if on the surface you technically have freedom of religion, you don't really. There is a lot of pressure from the culture and society to adhere to the religion that is the norm in various countries. In some countries, it is still a crime to entertain thoughts about a different religion than the norm, punishable by imprisonment or death even today. Humans are not as free as they would like to think they are, and that has to change now. No Prediction or Prophecy Is Unchangeable, The Future Can Be Changed The way predictions and prophecies work is that they take a snapshot of where the world is headed (or where an individual is headed if you are looking at the smaller picture) at that particular point in time. However, different decisions and actions are happening that can change the future. That is why predictions and prophecy are not necessarily written in stone. Sometimes the outcome is different because a different choice is made. Then the prediction or prophecy is obsolete. A new prediction or prophecy then must be sought, and even then that prediction can become obsolete again if the parties involved make different choices. Individual futures are easier to change than a mass consciousness future, though. An individual's future only depends on the decisions that particular individual makes, and perhaps a few people around him or her. However, a mass consciousness future like the one facing humanity right now takes a far greater change than just a few individuals taking different actions and making different decisions. It takes a very large amount of individuals within the mass consciousness to make the future change. If many individuals are taking different actions and making different decisions, it changes the future of a mass event. That is why it is so important now that each human takes a serious look at what he or she is contributing to the mass consciousness and making sure the he or she is supporting what he or she wants to see in the future. Fear creates a rough ride through the changes coming in the near future. Fearlessness creates a gentle ride through the changes coming in the near future. Each individual must choose consciously what he or she wants to support. If more of the mass consciousness can support a gentle transition than a rough one, then the paradigm shift around 2012 is not going to be so dramatic. Take all predictions, prophecy and prophecies with a grain of salt. Nothing is written in stone. Yes, some predictions and prophecies may be true, some maybe have already come to pass, and some may be right on track. However, be careful when listening to people making predictions and prophecy about this or that. Don't believe everything you hear about the future. All that you can truly be sure of is that you have a part to play in this unfolding change because you are part of the mass consciousness of humanity. If more people are in the state of love instead of the state of fear, the transition into a new version of human reality on the Earth will be gentler. You can make the choice right now to be fearless, even as you face many things that might contradict that choice.
