December 21, 2012 (12-21-2012) Jose Arguelles is the first to come up with the Dec. 21, 2012 date as the day that some great cataclysm on Earth will take place. Many Mayans believe this is a misinterpretation though because to them it is a huge achievement to make it through a whole cycle of Baktuns. It is a time that the world will "reset" and begin a new cycle, rather than the end of the world. It may the end of doing things the old way in the frequencies and vibrations that things used to be done in, but it doesn't mean that everything ends. Only the things that vibrate with an old cycle will end, or be done away with. We can all surely think of quite a few things we would like to see change in the way humanity does things. The new cycle starts at an octave higher than where the cycle was started before. That means humanity will do things in a higher vibration, a higher way, than where this cycle started before. The Mayans see things as cycles of vibrations or frequencies rather than a hard measurement of something that never changes. Time is made up of vibrations, tones and frequencies and different octaves of those same frequencies through the cycles. Some people say that the December 21, 2012 date is erroneous interpretation of the Mayan calendar. Others say it is extremely accurate. Even others say that the 12-21-2012 date was marketed as a way to cash in on people's fear, market products, movies, books, and more. The truth is, no one really knows. What we do know is that some sort of change must take place in order for humanity to continue on the Earth, a change in the way things are done, and it may have nothing to do with the Mayan calendar that those changes take place, or maybe it does! It is all speculation. One thing is for certain though. The mass consciousness of humanity wants a change in a big way, and it is evident to the ordinary person that humanity cannot sustain its current way of doing things. December 12-21-2012 Mayan calendar prediction, doomsday doom date manyans predict end of the world? Or Earth Changes? 2012 is only the beginning, not the end.
