Student Posts: 1292 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My personal experience is that I just listened and saw through the magic of Utube Lou Reed and... his kid and Maureen Tucker, the female drummer of the VU...who i had a deep crush on, when I was 12......we don't say things like that anymore....as guys no longer have crushes...but have sexual desires and actual activity. Ain't that right Absol Ency? Ain't you ever, in your life, loved anyone?????????????????

When I moved in with the Lady who was to become my wife, we lived two steps from the Abbey Road road crossing. That remains the only album of theirs that resonates with me. OK alright then, The Long and Winding Road also speaks considerable volumes Edited by Paul Joseph 11/5/2009 6:49 PM

If thou really lovest thyself, thou lovest all men as thyself; as long as thou lovest any one less than thyself, thou dost not really love thyself. That man is right who loves all men as himself. Student Posts: 567 ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Vancouver, Washington USA UMS student | Dear m, My wife's family has survived the typhoons this year. My brother-in-law and myself built my wife's family a house over there. We built it 3 feet higher above the ground than the rest of the houses. When the rains came it didn't flood. Made me feel good. My brother-in-law is from England. Relatively speaking, my wife's family has gone from the bottom of the heap to the top of the heap, prosperity wise. The country has about 85% + unemployment. We send them 2ft x2ft x2ft boxes loaded with goods and essentials three or four times a year. It's like Christmas for them. Feels good. We have a direct line to the Philippines so they can call us 24/7 and my wife can call them. Plus we sent a magicJack to England with a U.S. phone number so my brother-in-law's family can call the Philippines using our access line here from the States. We're all pretty close.

Student Posts: 1292 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Abby: Gotta love MagicJack......all the rage in the Philippines! My co worker Ferlinda (Fe) sent a bunch over to her relatives in Manila. One of her sisters is a bit outside of London and just became a Brit Cit, as there soon will be a longer waiting period for the chance to read "Life In the UK" and take the test so that the Home Secretary can see if one knows their peas from their porridge. What I don't understand is that the people I know all intend to go back to the Philippines for retirement, so why waste the time and money becoming a citizen of another country? By the way, I don't blame them....the USD is worth plenty in Manila...not to much here in our own country....and even less in the UK. Peace to you, Marty, Luck, Popp and Siss

Student Posts: 567 ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Vancouver, Washington USA UMS student | Yeah Marty, MajicJack is great. Saved me $43.00 a month, dumped my land line. Every cent counts. Just bought a new laptop with one third more gigs than my desk top for half the price of the desk top. Whoa! I like technology. Oh, BTW, when my wife was told she couldn't get a VISA because I hadn't paid my taxes, we didn't know which way to go. So I asked her if she would marry me and I would come to the Philippines twice a year and we could be husband and wife using the internet and a webcam. I told her everyone will say we're crazy you know. She said that's OK with me how 'bout you? I said OK. Now that's love! It took an extra year and a half, but finally we were married here in the U.S. And yes, we're crazy in love. We just had the willingness to be married and live by a computer connection. Now that's what I call practical "metaphysics." Peace, A.S. Edited by Absolute Sovereigncy 12/13/2009 4:17 PM

When I have the strength to realize it, I agree with the great mystics, that our purpose here is to be like God is - that's all (irony there)
